Invasive Species Control
The WLPA takes an active management role in controlling the spread of invasive plant species. The spread of these non-native plants take a toll on general lake health and cause major harm to the lakes ecosystem including native plant growth and fish and bird life. The WLPA works in coordination with the DNR to eradicate invasive plant species through grants and lake management programs.
